How to use the GEA Event Safety Online Course

Your course is divided into topics, lessons, and quizzes.

A blue progress bar at the top of the page shows you how far you are in the course. You can stop at any time and your progress is automatically saved.

You start taking a lesson by clicking on the highlighted lesson of your choice. You can take the lessons in any order you want.

At the bottom right of each lesson, you’ll see a “next lesson” button that takes you to the next lesson or quiz and marks this lesson as completed.

When you’ve completed all the lessons, you can click on the “Final Assessment” lesson which will take you to the final test.

After passing the final test you will receive your personalized course certificate.

Your Profile

You’ll gain access to your profile by clicking on the top right corner of your screen where it says „Howdy,“.
You can customize your user profile according to your preferences. 

One very important issue is that you make sure your first and last name in the first and last name fields is written as you want it to be displayed on your certificate.  Once you’ve entered your first and last name, scroll to the bottom of your profile and click on “Update Profile”.

Your user profile page also displays the following under “Course Info”:

• The courses you are enrolled in.
• Your certificates earned. If you don’t see a certificate, then you haven’t earned it yet.
• Your individual assessment results so you can review your answers at any time.
